В конце 1967 года после гибели родителей мальчик переезжает жить к бабушке. Та вскоре замечает, что в их городке отираются ведьмы, которые не прочь превратить её внука в какое-нибудь животное, поэтому решает спрятаться в самом шикарном отеле Алабамы, где работает её кузен.
